The Art in B & W 2023, 4th Annual Juried Exhibition is coming to the 3SA Gallery this April 2023. From Black and white to sixty shades of gray... this subtle and intriguing exhibit looks at all types of black and white artwork, painting, drawing, and photography and challenges the artist to convey their message in a world without color. From subtle shades of grays to broad and bold strokes of black ink or paint, we are seeking all types of work from conceptual to realistic.

Eligibility
The “Art in B & W 2023” exhibition is open to artists who are at least 18 years old (by the time of entry) submitting original works of art or photography. Works MUST BE created within the past 3 years and any reference photos used should have been taken by the artist.
Each artist may enter up to 5 artworks.
All submitted artwork/photography MUST ONLY use only black, white, or any shades of gray. Works with color, duo-tone, browns, or sepia-tones, will be rejected.
The competition welcomes all media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, fabric, photography, printmaking, and digital art. (Note size restrictions in Rules for Entry)
Artworks must be recent; any artworks completed before February 27, 2020 will be disqualified.
The enclosed entry/entries must be original work, independently created, composed and executed. Any reference photographs used MUST BE taken by the artist.
No copies from other artists' works or paintings/drawings from other artists' photographs or from published material will be allowed. Source material must be original.
Artwork that previously exhibited at the 3 Square Art Gallery are NOT eligible to submit.
Artist who has withdrawn accepted artwork/artworks in any previous exhibitions are not eligible to enter.
3SA Juror Members are not eligible to enter.
All entries must be submitted electronically through the online submission page HERE, which opens January 2023 and closes Monday, February 27, 2023, at midnight MOUNTAIN TIME (Denver, CO).
There is a nonrefundable entry fee of $42 for 1-3 artworks, $48 for 4 artworks, or $54 for 5 artworks.
