Adult Session

This figurative life drawing & painting session features a live, nude model posing for quick gestural and long-term poses and is open to the public (nude model session participants must be 18 years or older). The Figure Drawing Open Session is an excellent class to practice and hone your figurative drawing and painting skills. Our large classroom, features 360-degree views of the model and allows for movement between poses or careful study from one angle. The male or female model generally warms up with quick 30-second poses, then extending the pose to 5-minute, 10-minute, 20-minute, and then to a final 40-minute long pose.

Description


This is an open (no instructor) figurative life drawing & painting session for practicing drawing & painting skills from a live model. The male or female models will start with short, gestural poses and then gradually move into a 20 minute pose, then longer pose for a final 40-minute long pose. This is a great session to joint to meet other artists with a passion to learn to draw or paint the human form.

— 5 minute Break before a long pose —


40 minute pose X 1 (long pose) ***5 minute Break after 20 minutes


Price

  • Drop-in (1 Session): $23 for a single session (purchased at time of each session or online below)

  • Punch Card (5 Sessions): $105 (a punch card can be used for any session for up to one year. It expires after one year from the first used )


What’s Needed


Bring your own materials (sketchbook, paper, canvas, charcoal, graphite, pastel, watercolor, Inc, acrylic, etc). ***Easels and Chairs are provided.
