Portrait Group Sessions

This self-instructed portrait drawing/painting group session (no instructor) is excellent for those looking to brush up on their portrait and figurative drawing skills and to meet up with other artists in Fort Collins, Colorado. Artists of all skill levels and media are welcome to join our self-instructed group sessions! Walk-in’s are welcome but we recommend buying a full course, a pack of tickets, or a drop-in ticket to reserve your spot since space is limited.

Description

This is a self-instructed group drawing and painting session of a seated model. Drop-in’s are welcome!

80 minutes long pose per session: A clothed model will pose for 80 minutes total with a same pose each session. We will take a 10 minute break every 20 minutes for 4 times per session. The session starts from 6pm, so it’s good to arrive at the classroom 10 minute or so before the session starts to allow time to set up seating, easels, and to get ready to start.

Coffee and snacks will be served at breaks.

Details

Cost: $18 for drop-in or $80 for a 5-session punchcard (a punch card can be used for any session for up to one year. It expires after one year from the first use)
Age: 15+ All skill and creative levels welcome (younger artists are welcome with accompanying adult)
Materials: Bring your own materials (sketchbook, paper, canvas, charcoal, graphite, pastel, watercolor, Inc, acrylic, etc). ***Easels and Chairs are provided.
